Public Facility Tours

The 2022 Facilities Task Force recommended that the City invest in a new facility for our Police and Fire Departments. The 2023 Finance Committee supported this recommendation. This has many people wondering: what are the Ferndale Police and Fire Department facilities really like?

Now's your chance to take a look. The City will be hosting facilities tours of both the Police and Fire Departments throughout the summer. Tours will be led by Jim Jameson, DPW Director and former Facilities Manager, along with police and fire officers and staff. 

Facilities have space constraints, so tours will be limited to 10 attendees each. Sign up at bit.ly/4aWREld or email information@ferndalemi.gov for more information. 

While young attendees are welcome, please note that tours are geared toward adults.
