Join Ferndale Parks & Recreation for a FREE outdoor movie night at Martin Road Park! Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, family, and friends, and enjoy Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu under the stars. The event starts at 8:00 p.m., and the movie starts at sunset! (Around 8:45 p.m.)

Join us every Thursday evening from October 1 to 26, 2026, from 6:00 to 9:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers. If you want to learn more about law enforcement—like patrol, investigations, operations, philosophy, SWAT, and meeting your Ferndale Police Officers—this program is for you!

Yard waste season ends the week of December 14, 2026. Set your yard waste out in paper kraft bags or a labeled container (labels are available at City Hall or the DPW yard) at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on your regular trash day. Yard waste season will resume in spring of 2027.
