Yard Waste 2025 Season
Yard waste season is here! Yard waste season begins on Monday, April 7, 2025, and runs until December (date to be determined). Yard waste is collected weekly on your regular trash day annually from April to December. Please place your yard waste out at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on the morning of your scheduled pickup date.

This year's annual Ferndale Recycling Drop-Off Station is on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, in the City Hall Municipal Parking Lot (#11). On-site document shredding will be available. Please view the list of acceptable items.

Safety Town Bike Rodeo
Garbutt Park
In recognition of Bike Safety Month, the Parks and Recreation Department, Police Department, and Fire Department are hosting a free Bike Rodeo safety event on Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in Garbutt Park’s Safety Town area.
