UPDATE: The source of the issue is due to a large section of a tree that came down on the 400 block of East Woodland and Maplehurst along Gainsboro, which snapped multiple poles. E. Woodland from Bermuda to Gainsboro is actively filled with DTE trucks. If you're able, please avoid this area, as it is closed to through traffic. The estimated time frame is several hours, but we will continue to provide updates as necessary.

Please be advised: As of the late evening hours on Sunday, July 6, the Fire Department has reported several downed power line outages along the stretch of Gainsboro between Woodland and Maplehurst. These outages continue through the 300-600 blocks of East Woodland and East Maplehurst, as well as some surrounding properties in the area. The Fire Department and DTE are on the scene actively working to make repairs. The Public Works Department has barricaded Gainsboro at those cross streets for safety precautions. The City will share updates as they become available.
