Parking will be free in Ferndale from Monday, June 9, 2025, through Friday, June 13, 2025, as the City transitions to a new parking system: Pay by Zone. This modernized system will be a huge improvement to Downtown Ferndale and the ParkFerndale Team. 

The new upgrades include: 

• Text to Pay option
• Kiosk hardware & software
• Parking signs
• Entering a zone number instead of a space number

A license plate number will be required to pay for parking. 

The City of Ferndale and Downtown Ferndale will provide active communication throughout the coming weeks.
