Exciting improvements are coming to Martin Road Park!

We’re happy to announce that the City of Ferndale has received grant funding from the Michigan Department of Natural Resources Land and Water Conservation Fund (MDNR LWCF), Oakland County Parks, and the GameTime National Demonstration Site Project. This generous support will help us expand the playground at Martin Road Park. 

As part of the project, the play equipment has been removed from the center of the park. A new, modern play structure will be built on the east side, expanding the playground with updated equipment. This offers more ways for kids to play, making the park even better for everyone in our community. Check out the conceptual designs! 

We’re working through the grant process now and hope to open the new playground this fall! We’re excited to bring another improvement to Martin Road Park.
