We'd like to recognize our incredible Fire department and highlight major accomplishments of 2023, along with resolutions for 2024—and how the public can help achieve these goals!

They are true heroes, in every sense of the word. From being on the clock 24/7, to going through long, strenuous training procedures, to educating our community on fire safety...leadership doesn't even begin to describe their role. This year, they secured hundreds of thousands of dollars in critical supplies and ambulance training. They also hosted the first departmental open house in twenty years, which was an amazing opportunity to connect with the community. They also climbed 2,123 stairs in the Fight For Air Climb and rasied $2,000 for the American Lung Association in the process. 

The Ferndale Fire Department does everything they can to keep our community safe. We value and recognize all of their efforts in making Ferndale the best it can be!
