Ferndale, Michigan—On Thursday, October 22, 2026, the Ferndale Police Department and Ferndale Public Schools investigated two separate threats of violence written on the walls of two restrooms, which had occurred in the past week.

The investigation has provided information that the threats are not credible, and there is no safety concern. The Ferndale Police Department's top priority remains the safety of our students and faculty, and threats of this nature are taken very seriously.
