American Rescue Plan Act Survey Results and Project Recommendations

During the City Council Meeting on Monday, November 22, Assistant City Manager Kyle Pollet provided an update on the American Rescue Plan Act Funding. This was presented to City Council to assess feedback on the recommendation of where to allocate the funding as well as a preferred project scope. No decision has been made regarding the entire funding, however, City Council unanimously agreed to allocate $27,000 to the DPW Hazard Pay Fund. The remainder of the funding is required to be obligated through the budget process before December 31, 2024, and must be spent by December 31, 2026.

For a full breakdown of what the funding is, what is means for the City, the results of the public survey, and staff project recommendations, please view the proposal booklet.
