2022 Property Tax Reminders

The last day to pay any remaining 2022 summer and/or winter property tax balance is Tuesday, February 28, 2023. Beginning March 1, 2023, all unpaid 2022 property taxes are delinquent and must be paid with additional penalties to the Oakland County Treasurer. During the months of March and April, a revised tax statement from the City of Ferndale must accompany your remittance to the Oakland County Treasurer.

Not sure if your property taxes are paid? Here's how to check!

Because of slower delivery times from the USPS and all shipping carriers, payments mailed throughout the course of the 2022 tax season may not have arrived on time, causing penalties and interest to accrue unknowingly on parcels. Even if you suspect that you have fully paid your taxes, it's highly recommended to verify a zero balance prior to February 28. Search for your address/parcel on the BSA Online Portal and pay any remaining balances. If you have a mortgage company, please verify that they're paying on your behalf. Please contact taxbilling@ferndalemi.gov with any questions.
