On Thursday, November 4, 2021, City of Ferndale employees, volunteers, and community members were honored at the Ferndale Elks awards banquet.
"Law and Order Night" is a longstanding annual event by the Ferndale Elks Lodge #1588 in which the organization recognizes and thanks staff and volunteers for their distinguished service to the City of Ferndale. People are recognized in six categories:
Law enforcement employee of the year
Fire-rescue employee of the year
Public Works (DPW) employee of the year
43rd District Court employee of the year
City Hall employee of the year
Senior Citizen of the year
Volunteer of the year
Additionally this year, representatives from the Downtown Development Authority presented Elks members with the 2021 Feel the Pride Award for their festive window decoration/display during the city's June Pride celebration.
The City wants to congratulate all of this year's honorees and thank the Ferndale Elks for hosting such an incredible dinner and celebration.
