Massage Licensing
The City of Ferndale City Clerk's Office processes massage licenses. All massage establishments within the City are required to be licensed by the City. Licenses are valid for a period of one year, from January 1 to December 31.

Massage Establishment Licensing
A massage establishment is any establishment that engages in the practice of massage as defined in the ordinance, and which has a fixed place of business where any person, firm association, or corporation carries on any of the activities as defined above. A massage establishment shall not include a health club, health spa, or any physical fitness club or business that offers massages only on occasion or incidental to its principal operation.
