Ferndale Plant Exchange

Have a garden favorite you would like to share? Looking to start a new garden? Join us for the annual Ferndale Plant Exchange, hosted by the Ferndale Beautification Commission, during the recycling event from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at City Hall.

Leave a plant or take a plant! It’s easy to participate! Bring your perennial plants in pots (be sure to label them with the plant type). Bring a wagon, box, or bag for plants you'll be taking home. The event will be held rain or shine.

To bring plants, please place them in individual pots. Milk jugs and yogurt containers make great pots! Clearly label each pot with plant type. Pollinator-friendly plants are in-demand! Well-behaved plants only, please. Leave diseased or sick plants at home. Folks may take home any leftover plants at the end of the exchange! The Ferndale Garden Club will be on hand to answer plant questions and distribute free zinnia seeds (while supplies last).
