Kulick Community Center

If you’re looking for a location for your special event, consider the Kulick Community
Center, conveniently located near the Dales neighborhood of Ferndale. We have a
variety of rooms available for every occasion. 

  • Seats up to 144 and is perfect for showers, reunions, birthday parties, receptions, and dinners. 
  • Features a moveable wall and are great for birthday parties, family gatherings, business meetings, training programs, and banquets. 
  • is available for small meetings for up to 50 people or for craft classes and demonstrations. 
  • Features a moveable wall allowing flexibility for larger or smaller spaces. This setting is great for business meetings, classes... even Bingo!
  • We have a full-service commercial kitchen available for food preparation.
  • The Kid's Corner is also available for rental.
  • No alcohol is allowed at the Kulick Community Center or any of the Ferndale parks.
  • If you plan on having over 100 guests, this will be considered a special event and will need separate agreements and conditions.

Birthday Parties

Rent the sunny and spacious Kulick Center for your next birthday party! The Center is available Fridays and Saturdays between Noon and 10:00 p.m., with unique party packages available. Every package includes setup and cleanup. 

Package #1: Birthday Basic: Includes Art Studio and Gymnasium. 

Resident $235 Non-Resident $270

Package #2: Birthday Bonus: Includes Art Studio, Kids Corner, and open play including a bounce house.

Resident $245 Non-Resident $280

Package #3: Ultimate Birthday: Includes Art Studio, Kids Corner, Gymnasium, and open play including a bounce house. Inquire within for basketball and volleyball equipment. 

Resident $305 Non-Resident $340

How to Rent

  • Submit your rental application with a copy of a valid photo ID, including a signed copy of the Rental Rules and Regulation. 
  • A security deposit of $150 must be submitted with a completed rental application; remaining room rental fees must be paid at least ten business days prior to the event.
  • Weekend rentals have a four-hour minimum. Weekday rentals have a two-hour minimum. Please be sure to include set-up and clean-up time in your reservation.

Parks and Pavilions 

City of Ferndale parks are available for daily public use between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00
p.m. Most park features can be used without a permit, on a first-come, first-served
basis. Events that require extended use of picnic pavilions, electricity, ball fields, soccer
fields, and field hockey rinks may require a reservation and permit. 

Reserving a pavilion grants you exclusive use of the shelter (including electricity) and
accompanying tables. 

  • Pavilions at Geary, Martin Road, Harding, and Wanda Park are available for reservation.
  • Reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • A $75.00 nonrefundable deposit is required upon reservation.
  • Pavilions are rented in four-hour increments: 8:00 a.m.–noon, 1:00–5:00 p.m., and 6:00–10:00 p.m.

City residents, leagues, and businesses are eligible to reserve City park activity fields. Recreation teams with permits are given priority use of fields during their designated permit time. Permits must be on-site to be considered valid. No individual or group may have more than two permits at a time.
