2020 CDBG Tree Procurement and Planting Request for Bids

The City of Ferndale invites you to bid on the supply and installation of an estimated 86 trees for our Spring 2020 CDBG tree planting.Detailed scope of work and specifications are found in the bidding document attached.  

 

Bid documents can be found online at the MITN Purchasing Group. Bids for plant material and installation must be received via email by the City of Ferndale on or before 2pm on Friday, March 13, 2020. Bids received late will not be accepted.

 

The City of Ferndale reserves the right to accept any bid, to reject any bid or all bids, to waive irregularities and/or in formalities in any bid, and to make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the organization.

 

Specifications referred to herein are used to indicate the desired tree species, cultivar, root stock, and size. Alternates may be offered if deviations from specifications are minor, and if all deviations are properly outlined in the enclosed bid sheet. Failure to outline all deviations may be grounds for rejection of that item or the entire bid. Trees may be rejected upon delivery for failing to meet any of the requirements specified herein.

This is a Federally Funded project The Contractor and Subcontractors on this project must comply with HUD contract provisions 24 CFR part 85.36(i), the Davis-Bacon Act. Nondiscrimination, Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative Action, Section 3 requirements, Anti-Kickback Act,Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act and Department of Labor Standards and Regulations as set forth in the Contract Bid Documents.
