*UPDATED* as of 9:20 AM on 12/31 to include Flowerdale from 8 Mile to Fielding
Water in the area will be shut off tomorrow, Thursday, December 31, from 8 AM - 4 PM, as we work with a contractor from GLWA to fix the pipes.
No, a boil-water advisory is not necessary.
When water pressure fluctuates (as happens during a water main break), sediments often get stirred up and can make water appear cloudy or dingy. It's nothing to be concerned about; simply run your water for 5-10 minutes until the flow is clear.
Crews will make repairs as expediently as possible on Thursday, December 31. We will provide progress updates as available.
