Ferndale's New Mobile Pay App is Here!

It’s official—the City is moving to a convenient new parking app: ParkFerndale, powered by Passport Parking, set to launch on Monday, June 13.  

Why the change?

The new app brings a variety of benefits, including a simpler process for users (no more need to enter vehicle information or zone numbers—just type your space number and go), ability to view and manage your parking and payment history, and a lower cost (.10-cent reduction in transaction fee, plus no more additional transaction fees for parking session extensions).

How do I get it?

Simply download the ParkFerndale app from your Apple Store or Google Play Store, sign up using your payment information and email address, and you’re all set.

What if I don’t have a smartphone or prefer to pay with cash?

Meters and kiosks will remain in their current locations and will continue to accept cash and coins. Kiosk users will identify their parking spots by entering their space number into any kiosk location, as they’ve done previously. 

How will the changeover be managed?

Once the app is live, it’s ready to go—you can download it and use it to park immediately. To alert users, the City will be updating all current parking lot, space, meter, and kiosk signage. This will begin Monday morning and take 4-5 days to complete. The signage update schedule is:
