The Parks & Recreation Department provides residents and visitors with many varieties of youth and adult recreation leagues, family-friendly events, spacious parks with unique, interactive amenities. The Department is dedicated to working with the community to improve quality of life by providing a wide variety of activities that encourage health, fitness, and cultural enrichment. The vision of the Parks & Recreation Department is to create a community through people, parks, and programs.

The dog park is available for Ferndale residents and their four-legged friends by membership only. To qualify for membership, residents must first complete a one-time dog safety course. This class is currently being offered virtually. Click here to sign up for the course.
