Communications

The Communications Department serves as the primary facilitator between the various branches within the City of Ferndale. This office works with every department to ensure cohesive and consistent modes of communication, marketing, and branding City-wide.

The Communications Department operates within many different roles, including the management of the official City of Ferndale Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter pages, the management of The City's official website, Park Ferndale, The dot, and Open in Ferndale websites, event advertising and promotion, graphic design, writing and publishing of news stories and press releases, content creation for internal documentation, overseeing crisis communications, and many other mediums.

Prefer television to the web or social media? We've got you covered. The City broadcasts City Council meetings, important notices and updates, videos, and more on WFRN.

  • Comcast/Xfinity—channel 17
  • WOW (Wide Open West)—channel 10
