-Do I need a permit to paint a mural?

Yes, murals require a sign permit. Buildings are permitted one mural per building. Murals determined to be advertising by the Building Inspector shall be considered a sign and shall be included in the calculations of allowable sign area

-Do window graphics and signs require a permit?

-Window graphics and signs do not currently require a permit, but must adhere to the regulations in the sign ordinance. Window graphics and signs shall not cover more than 20% of the glass surface and shall not be attached to or painted on the outside of any window.
