SOCRRA—the City of Ferndale’s waste and recycling authority—will soon convert to mixed-use recycling. For Ferndale residents, this means new recycling containers and an end to sorting.
The Department of Public Works' 2017 residential street pavement improvement program is underway, which means that several of Ferndale's neighborhood streets are under construction and seeing the dreaded "no parking" signs.
May 1 is the start of grass and weed season in Ferndale. Don't wait until you're issued a warning (or worse, a citation); take a moment to re-familiarize yourself with the ordinance requirements.

The meetings are held the first Wednesday of the month at the Kulick Community Center.
